Stressless® Comfort
The Ekornes Stressless® story began in 1971, when the first recliner left their assembly line, and while the Norwegian luxury seating manufacturer has been producing the World's finest recliners, they've also been thinking and rethinking the whole concept of comfort.
As well as producing seating that is stylish and good looking, the most incredible thing about Stressless® seating is how your body feels when you are seated. Over the past 40 years, every new Stressless® has pushed boundaries and pioneered what is known as ultimate comfort.
Comfort innovations include the patented Stressless® PlusTM system, that automatically adjusts the headrest, providing neck and lumbar support; the Stressless® glide system that adjusts automatically to your body weight, with no buttons or levers to pull; and the new Comfort ZonesTM that give you a better seating comfort, as the identations let you sink deeper into the deat and back of the recliner.

Ekornes® participates in the UN's Global compact and takes responsibility for the environmental impact caused by the manufacturing, distribution, use and eventual disposal of the company's products. Over a long period they have implemented measures at their manufacturing plants to improve the internal and external environment, while also selecting more environment-friendly raw materials.
