This amazing history and tradition is among the many reasons why the Speaker of the House of Commons and Buckingham constituency MP, John Bercow, nominated ercol for the 'Made in Britain' award after a recent visit.

ercol came out the winner at the House Beautiful Awards for 2011 after being selected by a panel of expert judges as part of the home related categories. 

ercol's chiltern display cabinet was chosen as the best storage unit with the ercol chairman Edward Tadros picking up the Gold Award at the awards night presentation.
