Haskins Furniture has been selling Old Charm furniture to our customers in the West of England for many years, building up a very good business relationship with Wood Bros.

In our recently refurbished showrooms, visitors will find the latest pieces from the Lancaster, Richmond, Cotswold and Hertford collection. We also offer a bespoke white glove delivery service of Old Charm products to addresses on the England and Wales mainland.

Tudor style oak reproduction

From the East End of London, Herbert Wood’s dream was to produce collections of furniture that combined a unique style with quality and practicality. Above all, though, he wanted the furniture to be unaffected by time and fashion - pieces that would appreciate with age. His dream became a reality when he began to produce the Old Charm range.

The OId Charm range of Tudor style oak reproduction furniture comprises a magnificent collection of living, home office, entertainment and occasional furniture; using many traditional cabinet-making techniques, such as dovetailing, jointing, hand-finishing and carving.

Old Charm

In 1924, at the age of fourteen, Herbert Wood founded the company that is now known as Wood Bros. of Ware. It is widely considered to be the United Kingdom’s leading oak furniture manufacturer and is a company of international repute.

Wood Bros. has always promoted good husbandry of its timber sources and recently has been far more pro-active in ensuring and maintaining its green credentials. This has now spread throughout the business, where care for and impact upon the environment is at the forefront of company policy.

As a family-owned business based in Ware, Hertfordshire, Old Charm strives to continually improve, update and develop itself to changing trends and market conditions, constantly reviewing industry best practice and relevance to customers.
