Here at Haskins Furniture we have been working very hard to re-open the store following Government guidelines with customers and employee’s safety in mind.

The essential list of retailers was updated 1st May to include ‘Homewares’, which is a category we fall into.

 

Our store re-open on Wednesday 3rd June and deliveries also restated. We will be in touch with those who have outstanding orders with us to book a delivery date.

We are pleased to say our store reopened on Wednesday 3rd June. The essential list of retailers was updated 1st May to include ‘Homewares’, which is a category we fall into. We have been working on the safety of customers and employee’s and have introduced policies and new measures to support this.

We have put appropriate signage around the store to remind everyone of the new safety measures in place, for example, we have a strict 2 meter social distancing rule and have taped areas around the sales desk. All staff have been provided with the necessary PPE, including our delivery team.

We have revised our hours for the next few weeks, which we will keep monitoring and change should we need to. Currently our opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9.30am – 5.00pm and Sunday’s 10.00am – 4.00pm.

We have put in place a COVID-19 policy that all staff must abide to, and we have a new delivery policy to protect all employee’s and customers.

As you enter our store you will see new signage from the main entrance and all around the store to help and remind you of the measures in place. We are a large store with open plan showrooms so there is plenty of space, but in the event we have too many customers in our showrooms we will be monitoring the door. Please bear with us should this happen.

We have also introduced strict hygiene and cleaning measures throughout the store. You will be asked to use hand sanitiser before touching any furniture and our staff will spray disinfectant on the products once you leave them.

We are going paperless and should you provide us with an email, we will send a copy of your sales order confirmation to this instead of asking you to sign in store. We just ask you send an email back to confirm everything is correct as a form of signature. However, should you not have an email address, we have disposable pencils you can use to sign and then keep the pencil.

We are resuming deliveries alongside opening our store. We have a new delivery policy and questions to ask you in place which we will discuss with you when we call to book a delivery date.

If we already have your order from our manufacturers, we will be in touch to book a delivery date as soon as possible, please bear with us.

Our deliveries are completely contact-free, no paperwork will need to be signed.

Due to guidelines, we have still suspended our recycling service. If you have already purchased this, we are happy to refund the cost should you still wish to have your delivery. Alternatively, we can hold on to your order until we are able to fulfil the recycling.
