The Sideboard is Old Charms most compact sideboard design and is also one of the oldest in the collection. Despite its small size, its storage capacity is deceptively large: with two drawers and a cupboard in the lower section, it is the ideal piece to store table linen, crockery, bottles and cutlery. Featuring a number of intricate carvings: linenfold, cactus flower and chop carving. Wax is rubbed into the sideboard emphasising the character. Belgrave is a classically styled design contrasting an ivory painted finish with beautifully hand-crafted marquetry tops using American white oak solid timbers and veneers. Each piece of furniture reflects the intensified natural characteristics of rustic oak wood such as knots, mineral streaks pinholes, sapwood, handplaning, saw marks and wood colour variation.
