Relyon Beds factory now employs nearly 260 people and is firmly established as one of the leading UK bed manufacturers. Relyon were the first company to develop recyclable mattresses back in 1858. Their pure wool mattresses were often re-purposed by their owners who took advantage of the resilient wool interiors for insulation or compost.
