Designed by Lucian Ercolani in 1956, the Studio Couch has always been a charming and practical addition to any home. It is a nostalgic and standout piece from ercol’s early design portfolio. Featuring traditional spindle details and a simple, backrest created from a singular piece of carved wood. Arched steam-bent ash rods stabilize the armrests, and webbing adds strength and support to the base ready to welcome visitors to take a seat. Designed in 1956, the Loveseat reflects Lucian Ercolani’s eye for detail and features his signature blend of beauty and functionality. Loosely inspired by the silhouette of the Windsor chair, the Loveseat is a striking statement piece full of attractive curves, tapered leg and spindles combine with a curved back rail. An original 1950’s design from company founder, Lucian Ercolani, the All-Purpose chair has become a modern classic for the home. Favoured for both its versatility and practicality, the All-Purpose chair provides a supportive and relaxing seat. The All-Purpose chair features a traditional wedge joints, where the legs come through the seat and a wedge is then inserted into a cut, before the leg stump is hand sanded flush with the seat, to create a lovely design detail and a very strong joint. Made from solid ash, the All-Purpose chair can be finished in your choice from wood and paint finishes that protect the timber, while allowing you to choose the look to match your style and décor.
