Snugglers
What is a snuggler chair?
A snuggler chair sits between an armchair and a small sofa. It's wider than a standard armchair but more compact than a two-seater sofa. Typically around 120-140cm wide, it's designed for one person to sit very comfortably with extra room to curl up, or for two people to sit closely together. Snugglers are brilliant if you want more lounging space than an armchair offers but don't have room for a full sofa. They're also called love seats or cuddle chairs. Many of our snugglers come with the same features as our armchairs, including recliners, swivel bases, and a choice of fabrics or leather. They work particularly well in smaller living rooms, bedrooms, or conservatories where you want comfortable seating without overwhelming the space.
Can two people fit onto a snuggler chair?
Yes, two people can sit on a snuggler chair, though it's more intimate seating than a standard two-seater sofa. You'll be sitting close together, which is perfect for couples or children sitting with a parent. The width varies by model. Some are more generous than others, so it's worth checking the dimensions. Most snugglers are really designed with one person's comfort in mind, giving you plenty of room to stretch out, tuck your legs up, or shift position. If you regularly need seating for two people with more personal space, a small two-seater sofa might be a better choice.
